I was so happy on New Year Eve~ PART 1

On the 31st of December 2008, I expected nothing much would happened as I never have dates or plans on New Year Eve all these 19 years!!! But seems like GOD loves me lots and decided that I deserved something on this very day and TADA! I gotten my hair rebonded so it is now really straight and I actually went out and celebrate New Year Eve with my friends!! Now..don't laugh at me! You guys had no idea that i was always feeling a bit lonely on the last day of the year..everyone went countdown or celebrate somewhere but i was ALWAYS staying at home, watching ASTRO AEC for fireworks around the world and stuffs... Plain boring..


What exactly did happened on New Year Eve..

First, my grandma was nagging at me telling me that i need a new hair cut for Chinese New Year. I don't wanna get my hair trimmed off because it wouldn't helped tidying up my messy hair ends!! Then i decided to cut it real short, just above my shoulder to get rid of those messy ends but everyone is against it..saying that i would look fat and ugly with short haircut.. So..i was undecided again.. I even went online to look up for some nice medium hairstyles and guess what? All those models' hairstyles are so unpractical for me, a girl who don't use hair spray and stuffs to make my hair stay as it is! Less than a minute before I went to the saloon together with my grandma, my aunt and my cousin sis (yes, everyone is going), I decided to straighten my hair! That is the best solution anyway... My hair would then be tidy and flat and pretty! Hehehe...



Before, my friends and my aunt always provide me with scary information such as your hair would spoil, your hair would look lesser, you will look fatter with straight hair, you can't sleep with that hair for a week or it will go all cacat and stuffs.. Now, i just shrugged all those off behind me and ish determined to get my hair rebonded! Heheh.. So..my hair is all straight and pretty now~ Hehehehehehe

Right after i get home(after 3 hours of rebonding session), I gotten an sms from my dear Wei Ling saying "Wanna come over to Centro?" I was like Huh? what was she saying? is this sms even directed to me? it was like so out of the blue and thus i asked her on msn. She said since Maki's New Year Eve plans are cancelled, they decided for a meetup at Starbucks, Centro! I was like Yoohoo! So i quickly took a bath and get ready before Leng(my nick for Wei Ling) and her brother came and pick me up!

When we were in Starbucks, there is this promotion for Christmas or something and it is BUY ONE FREE ONE TREAT! I was like O.O, yesh! cheaper drinks..cuz i'm actually quite broke...swt.. The choice is between Dark Cherry Mocha and Toffee Nut..since Dark Cherry Mocha is sweeter, i decided to get that one.. We sat there chatting and drinking when this weird guy came up to us and ask whether he can take our photo? I wanted to say NO but he quickly added that he will print the photos for us later.. and we are all like YES! So.. a memorable photo before the clock strikes 12~ The photo turns out GREAT! We all LUV it!

Anyway, we took turns going to the washroom cuz we were afraid our seats would be taken since there were a lot of ppl there. The clock is striking 12 anytime soon and we were looking around for possible fireworks breakout or something. And then we hear 6..5...4...3....2...1...HAPPY NEW YEAR!. We went outside to watch the fireworks only to get the bits of it falling on our head...>.>
